Welcome to my website. This site is about Danaë FitzRoberts aka Hobbit or Danaë Fesler.

I say aka Hobbit because that is what most folks call me. Hobbit has been my nickname since I was a junior in high school and I portrayed Bilbo Baggins in a production of “The Hobbit” at the school. The nickname stuck and actually describes me fairly well, as I am rather short and round and built a lot like Mr. J.R.R. Tolkien’s Hobbit’s. I grew up loving the books and still do, so it’s a fitting nickname.

In my “Normal” or “mundane” Life I am a wife and homemaker and Mother of two children both of which are now in their 20’s.

I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval recreation group and reside in The Province of Southern shores, in the Principality of Mists. Which is in the Kingdom of the West. The first of the 20 kingdoms in the SCA. I often am called a Mists placed Cynaguan as I lived in The Principality of Cynagua most of my life.

In the SCA I am known as Hobbit, Mistress Danaë or Mistress Hobbit. I am a member of both the Orders of the Pelican and the Order of the Laurel. The Pelican is for Service and the Laurel is for Art.
