Welcome to my website. This site is about Danaë FitzRoberts aka Hobbit or Danaë Fesler
I say aka Hobbit because that is what most folks call me. Hobbit has been my nickname since I was a junior in high school and I portrayed Bilbo Baggins in a production of "The Hobbit" at the school. The nickname stuck and actually describes me fairly well as I am rather short and round and built a lot like Mr. J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit's. I grew up loving the books and still do, so its a fitting nickname.
In my "Normal" Life I am a wife and homemaker and Mother of two children one of which is already taller than me. My daughter is 13 and my son will be 12 in October.
I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a medieval recreation group and reside in The Province of Golden Rivers in the Principality of Cynagua which is in the Kingdom of the West. The first of the 19 kingdoms in the SCA.
I plan to add links to my illuminations and calligraphy as well as links to the research I have done over the years while working on Arts and Sciences projects. And eventually all my class handouts and things as well.
